Kiss My Ash Trophy – A Custom Memorial Rooted in Humor, Love, and Family

Every so often, a family comes to us with a request that reminds us just how deeply personal memorial art can be.

Vince reached out while his family was still in the pre-planning stage for his father. His dad had a big personality, a strong sense of humor, and was known as a lifelong jokester. One running family story was his playful comment about wanting a cremation urn with a “rump” so everyone could come “kiss his ash.”

Instead of letting that idea stay as just a joke, Vince asked if we could help bring it to life in a way that still honored his father while reflecting his humor and spirit.

With his direction on style and elements, we created a custom trophy-style memorial piece with bold handles, meant to be a shared, lighthearted family tribute. Something that could be passed around, talked about, and remembered as part of who he was.

The result became one of the most unique memorial pieces we have ever made. Not because of its humor alone, but because of what it represents: a family choosing to honor their loved one exactly as he lived, with personality, laughter, and honesty.

After receiving the finished piece, Vince shared this with us:

Customer Email
“Just wanted to reach out and thank you guys for making our idea come to life. My father absolutely loved the urn. It turned out fantastic. It will bring joy and resurface memories about my father for my family for years. We are extremely thankful to have found you guys. I will certainly be recommending you to friends and family.”

Moments like this are why we do what we do.

Every family grieves differently. Some lean into tradition. Some lean into symbolism. And some find healing in pieces that reflect humor, stories, and the full personality of the person they love.

For us, it is always an honor to help turn those stories into something tangible that can be held, shared, and remembered.

Power of Personalization: Stock Car for The Margarita Lady

We were honored again to create a custom piece for the Flickinger Family.  This piece makes the third urn they've asked us to make.  We were touched that they entrusted us to help them memorialize Mom this time.

Wanda loved dirt track, stock car racing. A long time fan, she was known as "The Margarita Lady" to her racing friends, and had expressed that wanting a stock car urn when it came her time. We based the design from pictures sent of a Modified race car of her favorite driver, Wendell Wallace's #88 of Batesville, AR.

We hand delivered this piece to her family, who were happy with how the piece turned out and how perfect it was for Wanda.
